Terms of use
These terms cover this website and the use of PatientDesk. The agreement each clinic signs with us is the document that governs a paid account.
Needs legal review. This page is a plain-language draft written by the PatientDesk team and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It will be replaced by a reviewed version.

1. Who these terms are with
PatientDesk is a product of MangoBrain, the software arm of Mango Media Digital, Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
2. This website
The information on this website describes PatientDesk as it stands on the date shown above. We say on the Features page which parts are working and which are not finished, and we try hard to keep that accurate. Features described as “coming soon” carry no promise of a date, and nothing on this website is a commitment to build a particular feature.
The PatientDesk name, our logo and the content of this website are ours. Please do not copy them to present another product as ours.
3. PatientDesk is a record-keeping tool, not a clinical one
PatientDesk records, prints and stores what clinic staff and doctors enter. It does not give medical advice, it does not make clinical decisions, and it does not check prescriptions for safety. In particular, it does not currently warn about allergies, drug interactions or duplicate medicines.
All clinical judgement and responsibility remains with the treating doctor and the clinic. Nothing in PatientDesk replaces the doctor’s own checks.
4. The clinic’s responsibilities
- Keep logins private. Each person uses their own, and sharing one login makes the activity trail meaningless.
- Enter data accurately, and have a lawful basis for holding the patient data you put in.
- Set your staff’s roles and permissions to match what each person should actually be able to do.
- Do not use PatientDesk for anything unlawful, and do not attempt to reach another clinic’s data.
5. Our access to your account
As set out in the Privacy page section 3, the PatientDesk team can access and check all data in a clinic’s account, including bills and accounts, for maintenance, management and data quality. We can never write, sign or approve prescriptions or order tests. Every opening needs a reason and is recorded in our own audit log. The clinic’s agreement states this access in writing.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep PatientDesk available and we take regular backups, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. We may need to interrupt the service for maintenance or an urgent fix. We improve and change the software over time; we will not remove something a clinic depends on without telling that clinic.
7. Trial use
Where a clinic is using PatientDesk in trial, the software is provided for evaluation and parts of it are still being built. Please do not rely on a trial account as your only record of anything you need to keep.
8. Money
What a clinic pays, when, and what happens if it stops paying, are set out in that clinic’s agreement, not on this page. PatientDesk does not take payments from patients and does not handle a clinic’s money; it records payments the clinic has taken.
9. Ending an account
A clinic may stop using PatientDesk. The notice period and the period in which data can be exported before removal are in the clinic’s agreement. We may suspend an account for unlawful use or for non-payment, under that agreement.
10. Limits
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for clinical decisions, for data a clinic or its staff entered incorrectly, or for loss arising from use of the software beyond what that clinic’s agreement provides. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Bangladesh.
